Preparing a renovation or a new build from a single model of the building: the 2D plan, the 3D view, the quantities and the cost come from the same drawing and stay up to date together.

No. The creation wizard asks simple questions (address, property type, rooms) and the studio draws a first plan that you then change. Professionals also get detailed quantities and sharing with roles.

From the address, MonPlan.ai looks up the parcel in the French land register (IGN cadastre) and the zone of the local urban plan. You can also draw the plot by hand on a metre grid, with lengths and angles, or start from a photo set to scale.

A PDF, an image (photo or scan), a DXF file or an IFC file. The plan is laid to scale under the drawing and the walls found in CAD files are suggested to you.

In a renovation, every wall and opening has a state: keep, repair, move, demolish or add. Quantities follow them: demolition and rubble removal for what goes, construction and finishes for what is new.

It answers questions about your plan (areas, values to check) and makes changes you ask for in plain words, such as "make the living room one metre bigger" or "add a window in the bedroom". You keep or undo each change.

Yes. Every save creates a version, which you can name. Going back to a version saves it as a new version, so nothing done in between is lost.

Straight from the plan: wall areas (openings deducted), paint, floors, skirting, doors and windows. Every line shows its calculation with the real dimensions, the waste allowance and the values still to check.

You enter the unit prices, from your quotes. A typical range is suggested for each line, to be replaced by your own prices. A line without a price is shown as missing, never counted as zero.

Under some budget lines, the MonPlan.ai team shows where to buy the materials, with the price and buyers' ratings. Partners are marked as such.

No. A share link is enough: you give it a name and a role (view, comment or edit), and choose whether it shows the quote, the documents and the versions. You can remove a link at any time.

In the studio, a comment can be pinned to a spot on the plan or attached to a wall, a door or a room. Everyone sees who wrote it, and the project history keeps track of changes.

It disappears from your account and from the accounts of the people it was shared with, and its share links stop working. It is still kept on our servers: write to us if you deleted it by mistake.
